CREATIVE FLORAL DESIGN

Fall Semester 2009 

              The goal of this class is to teach a variety of different styles and techniques of floral design that will be exciting, challenging, fun, and most importantly, useful in your home decorating and entertaining projects. 

              The class will meet on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. as follows:

Session 1—Fall has just begun

              September 29                        2) All about GLASS

              October 6                             3) Fall Clean up --a vegetative design

Session 2—Fun with Autumn flowers

              October 20                           1) Fall Flourish – a topiary design

              October 27                           2) A Spooky Treat – Halloween

              November 10                        3)’Round and ‘round, a table wreath

Session 3—Thanksgiving and Christmas

              November 17                        1) Thanksgiving Centerpiece

              December 1                          2) Boxwood Tree

              December 2                          3) Holiday Centerpiece

                        We will be creating a new design each week.    No experience is necessary from one week to the next or from one session to the next.
